Hello,

We are currently facing full hypervisor outage for la5ssd2, ssd1kvm2, la4ssd3. All VPS on these nodes are down.

If your VPS is hosted on these nodes and is down, you do NOT need to open a ticket. We are aware of this and working on it.

We have commissioned datacenter to look at them, we will update this when we have more information.

Update 1(Nicole): While waiting for la5ssd2, ssd1kvm2, la4ssd3, another server went down - la4kvm41. We have updated request to the datacenter team to check it as well.

Update 2(Nicole): ssd1kvm2 and la4ssd3 have recovered. We faced power outage on them. la5ssd2 and la4kvm41 remain down. la5ssd2's status is still being checked, the first reported issue from DC was also power outage but it didn't come back up after power was restored.

la4kvm41 faced RAID degradation resulting in the RAID card knocking 2 disks offline. I brought it up, its currently in rebuilding mode and will be booted only after the rebuilt is complete. This is being done to ensure data safety in case 2 disks are really dying (the point is to prevent more workload stressing them during rebuild). We will work on potentially evacuating these VPS-es to a different node. ETA for rebuild is some hours (maybe 8-10 , I am unsure). We apologize for the downtime and you are free to open compensation requests as soon as you see [RESOLVED] tag on this announcement - we will not reply before its done.

Update 3(Nicole): la5ssd2 has also been recovered after the power outage. We are working with the datacenter to examine the root cause of it and prevent it from happening again.
