Q: I'm unable to access websites like Netflix, Gemini, ChatGPT, Hulu, and other similar services using my VPS. Why is this happening?
A: These services often block access from data center IPs (like those used by VPS providers) to prevent VPN usage, scraping, or unauthorized regional access. This is common with:
-
Streaming services (e.g., Netflix, Hulu, Disney+) that restrict content based on licensing.
-
AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) that limit access to certain regions or disallow automated use.
-
Search engines and financial platforms that block access from cloud-hosting IPs for security and fraud prevention.
These blocks are implemented by the services themselves, not by your VPS provider.
Q: Can I get an IP that works with Netflix or other restricted sites?
A: No. We do not provide residential IPs or guarantee access to services that block data center IPs. Our infrastructure is designed for general-purpose hosting, not for bypassing regional or access restrictions.
Q: Can I change the VPS IP or request a different one?
A: Changing the IP generally won’t solve the issue. The block is based on IP type (data center), and most of our IPs fall under that category. Even newly assigned IPs are likely to be blocked by these services but we can try to change your vps IP . Also try to use our IPv6 to access the sites .
Q: Is this a problem with your network or my server?
A: No, if your VPS can access other websites and services normally, the issue is not with your server or our network. These blocks are enforced externally by the services you're trying to access.
